Meaning of our History

Read the first movement post . . . click here.

Hey jammers. As you all know, the history of Jamaa is falling apart. It seems very few know about it anymore. We are the ones responsible for keeping it together. We need to remind everyone. We need to spread our knowledge to others. . . Otherwise the culture of Jamaa will truly die.

With this movement I'm not suggesting that we protest against all things modern, I'm just hoping we can create a balance between the new and the old. However, I need help with our goals. What small thing could we change? I need ideas. . . This movement isn't for just me, it's for all of us.

Animal Jam is, and always will be, human. Animals don't wear clothes, or have houses, I get that. I simply love the culture that it used to express. The clothing made out of nature. Masks with feathers instead of sun visors, leg items with leaves instead of flip flops. But really, all I want is a balance, how about you all? It matters more what you think.

If you don't agree with this movement, or don't really care, you really don't have to join in. I only thought many jammers cared about this. I've talked about it with so many it seemed like we all were thinking along the same lines

My sister was doing something interesting the other day. She was lying by Mira, and every time a jammer came up she asked "Do you know who this statue is of?" She would then go on withtelling that jammer about Jamaa's history. She did it for fun, and it was just random. What if we all did that? Just once and a while, when you have the time, tell the story of Jamaa. It's actually pretty fun, and you'd be surprised with some jammer's reactions. Perhaps you can think about trying it this week.

Thanks jammers, I'm really happy you feel the same about the movement. As a side note, I think Leafpool really captured what inspired me to start the jamaasian movement. Thank you. :)

"The Jamaasian movement is not about abolishing humanity and bringing back beta. It's about bringing back the culture!" ~Leafpool

New RIM: Freedom Capes 6/25/12

Heya Jammers!

Today, I'll tell you about the new posts Animal Jam HQ have made on their blog, The Daily Explorer. Again, sorry you see these so late, but I've been extremely busy lately to captivate all of these.

Seems Animal Jam HQ have posted about the rare item already, making it indeed freedom bands. Make sure to stock up on these, they might never come back. Soon, we will probably have freedom wings and helmets coming out soon. Make sure to load up on those as well. These really are, pawsome items. ^.^
Animal Jam also seems to note the riddle in the Jamaa Journal. What do you think the new animal could be? The riddle may give you some clues, so feel free to read it. I've read it and I have a feeling I know what it is. ;) Also, the new pet may be a rat/mouse. What do you think jammers? I made this decision based on the large sum of Jammers saying it is a rat or mouse! So.. it may be... just saying... Also, Animal Jam sent out a daily message on this... Do you know what it is? I know I do. ^.^
Lastly, this was updated a while ago, but I just came around to posting it (sorry for the long wait). >.< Anyhow, seems Animal Jam really wants its jammers to know about the penguin being for all. Which I think if pretty pawrific. It seems Animal Jam are finally listening to us, and creating things nonmember. What do you think on this? I love it. Also, if you look close into the picture... you can see something... The seal cave. Is that an entrance? But to where? Hmm... This brings us to the weekly Jamaasian mystery... Where does this strange cave lead too? Will it lead to a magical land? Will i9t bring back the old cultural parts of Jamaa and all items for all jammers? Is it where shamans dwell? Tell me your answer in the comments, I'd love to hear your indue approach to this Jamaasian mystery... ^.^
See Jammers? It could lead to somewhere mystical in the near future... I can't wait to see it, and hear your ideas!

Now for the rare item monday!

Today, Animal Jam have brought back the freedom capes, a classic rare from Fourth of July in 2011. Hopefully, more freedoms will come back, and I advise you to stock up on them (they might never come back). So, you can buy this rare in Jam Mart Clothing, and it is nonmember! That means all Jammers can purchase it! Pretty cool. ^.^

Well, that's all for today Jammers! Happy Jamming! ;)

Jamaasian Movement Begins

Requirement - first read the History of Jamaa.
The post that inspired it all. . .

I know you were all hoping for something big, somethingJamaa-changing, but we all need to face the facts. Animal Jam is run by adults. We are kids. What could we possibly do?
All I know is that I didn't join Jamaa for the rares or the games. I joined it to find friends from around the world and learn more about the earth from an inspirational game. As corny as that sounds, it's true. I love Jamaa because of the imagination and creativity behind it. It is something more than a game. . .
Perhaps it started with Graham the monkey shaman. It all began then I suppose. I never realized how fun it would be to meet a shaman, and how I felt like I was becoming part of a story. None of my rares mattered at that moment. I just wish everyone else could feel the same. Things would be better. . .
Enough with my talk, now for the evidence! Here are some problems I've seen. Shamans are no longer being named. Mira, Zios, and the phantoms no longer appear in the Jamaa Journal (except for gift giving symbols and glitch excuses that is).Humanity is invading Jamaa - the cruise ship - Crystal Sands  water slides. . . It's simply getting ridiculous.
If we want to make a difference we need to act together. I don't just mean all of you or this blog. We're pretty small in Jamaa. I mean every blog, every jammer, every single one you can find. If the word goes wide, we may have a chance. I'm sure many of you own blogs, or read other ones. Could you post this, or tell about this? No need to link my blog if you don't want you readers to come here. Just simply state the name and goal of our movement. Then we may have the chance. . . to change Jamaa.
Tell your buddies. Tell jammers who care about Jamaa. Tell jammers who don't know anything about it at all. If we are a united group AJHQ will have to hear us. None of this is possible without your active help, you must want to change Jamaa.
This next week is to prepare for our first act. Our current task is to spread the word. Tell a random jammer you meet. Tell your friends. Tell your your blog readers. But the real question is this - what are we going to do? What do you want to do? Tell me your ideas and remember, we must take baby steps. Little changes. If we give it our best we may just change the world.
There are some of you that will ignore this post, won't spread the word, and don't really care. That's alright. It makes a difference just knowing about what Jamaa is missing. For everyone else, we must fight. For when we leave Jamaa we need to be ready for the outside world. It's a big place, and it needs change to move towards a better future. Why not start now?

Freedom Mask 6/18/12

Hey Jammers!

Today, AJHQ have brought back a true rare! The rare is the freedom mask, brought out in July 2010 and sold in, the fourth page of Jam Mart Clothing! This is exciting news jammers, maybe more freedoms are soon to come out! What do you think about this jammers?
It's even nonmember! This is truly Jamaasian! Maybe snowyclaw's Jamaasian Movement is working! Click here to learn more about it. Wow, I sense more Freedoms and Jamaasian lore will be coming to Jamaa now. ;)

Next, here's a funny little glitch that sjamj spotted a glitchy pet name!
Orangemountain always seems to pop-up with name glitches. Have you had this glitch before?

Now for the weekly Jamaasian mystery. . .
. . .What actually made Zios fall? Were it the phantoms? Were it the greed of other jammers? Was it a natural Jamaasian disaster? Or was it so ashamed of the phantoms tearing apart the beauty in Jamaa? Or the humans coming into Jamaa and humanizing it all? Tell me your thoughts on this in the comments. I hope to hear some creative ideas to this puzzling occurrence. ;)

Well that's all for now. Happy Jamming!

New RIM: "Rare" Golden Pirate Hat

Hey Jammers!

Todays "rare" is the golden pirate hat. Located on the sixth page of Jam Mart Clothing. AJHQ  seems to really be going crazy over this golden thing. Soon things will be bronze, and silver... I can see it now... Are you ready? ^.^

Next, AJHQ  sent out another message to everyone yesterday, it's about PET ADOPTION! Make sure to head on her to AJHQ's blog, The Daily Explorer, click on it for a link, to learn more about caring for our adorable little friends. Every pet deserves a home. ;)

Next, for the weekly jamaasian mystery. . . This one is kinda a fun one, and needs no exact answer. . .
Who are these mysterious rainbow bunnies? Were they the originally Jamaasians, ones who care about the culture of Jamaa? Are they sent to create peace to all Jammers of Jamaa? Are they secretly evil and out to get us? What do you think? Like I said, this is completely random, and it needs no "exact" answer. It's just a fun question for this week. ;)

Well, that's all for today, jammers. Happy Jamming!

New RIM: "Rare" Star Capes

Hey Jamaasians!

Today, AJHQ have created a "rare" version of the star cape. It is currently located on the first page of Mt. Shiveer's Hot Cocoa Hut. I highly suggest buying one of these, they're so cool looking. ;)
Next, for this week's Jamaasian mystery.
The grand arches surrounding the statue of Mira in the Township have all collapsed. Vines grow on the crumbling stone. What did this place used to be? What happened there?
Why is it left in ruins?

Happy Jamming!
