Hi.

Hey jammers, sorry I haven't been posting on this blog as much. Reasons are, I have another blog that I am more dedicated to posting on (Animal Jam Wild) and the other reason is, I just don't have time to blog post anymore, I barely have time for my main blog.... I'll try to post more, but don't count on it being as often. Until then, see you in Jamaa. I just thought I'd update you all on why I have not been posting. /).(\

Rare Epic Dragon Mask

Hey jammers, today's rare item is the Rare Epic Dragon Mask on the eighth page of Jam Mart Clothing. It's worth 1,000 gems, kinda pricy in my opinion, but it's epic, no? What do you think of these? I keep seeing croc-dragons being greatly excited for these... Beware... :P

Next, we have the weekly mystery. I've decided to keep it, but do a different one, other than snowyclaw. Hopefully this will prompt more answers... :P
Ok, on my daily wanderings throughout Jamaa, I've came across these strange sprirt-spears for sale in Jam Mart Clothing. Being curious I looked through the catalog and saw no trace of them.

Were they an early item? Were they brought here by the shamans from their quests all over? What do they symbolize? Seems to be a color for each of the spirit stones... Are they? Will they ever be for sale again?

Tell me your answers to this somewhat tricky trivia question, and I'll pick the best ones and show them on tomorrow's post. :)

May Mira be with you.

New RIM: Rare Rhino Helmet

Hey jammers, sorry I haven't been posting the new rare item... I've quite busy lately but I'll start up again. Don't worry, I'm back and I won't quit, like I did for a while.

Hey jammers, today's rare item is actually rare, despite being in a different color. In my opinion, I kinda like these rares better, because at least they aren't releasing the actual item, but one just like it. That way, all jammers can be happy and not worry about items coming back, and same with everyone else, they can get a taste of an actual "rare" item without it being the real deal. So, in a way, this rare Monday is kinda good. What do you all think of it? Good? Bad? Cheesy?

I might actually buy one of these, these look so cool! :)

Now. . .Don't get mad at me for using the same Jamaasian mystery as snowyclaw. I just think she brought up a good point, and I am wondering about this too... Ok... In my wanderings throughout Jamaa, I came across this mysterious symbol in two very well Jamaasian shops; the Hot Cocoa Hut and Jam Mart Clothing.

It certainly is a strange symbol... How did it appear in Jamaa? where did it come from? What's the meaning behind it? What does it symbolize? Who did it belong too? Where has it been? Why is it here? This may be a tough one, so tomorrow's post, I'll make sure to put some of for 'creative answers in it. Please comment on it, I know it is a lot like snowy's, but it's still a pretty good mystery.

We Can Make a Difference

Even though we're just kids, I honestly believe we can make a difference. We support Animal Jam with out memberships and our endless hours playing the game, so why shouldn't AJHQ listen? They even have places where we can send in our shout outs and ideas for items, which got me thinking. . .
If they want to know our thoughts, then I say we give them all we've got. It seems most of us agree that the three nameless statues in the Chamber of Knowledge deserve to be named. I don't think it'd be too hard for AJHQ to change that, they were able to edit the names in the beta globe incident. Do you agree?
What's so worrying about the lack of names is the fact that AJHQ seems to be trying to erase all knowledge of Animal Jam Lore. They want to pretend it never existed, thus getting rid of extra work. I don't blame them, I'm sure it'd be lots of work, making a story for every animal that came out. But. . .
Do you like the creativity put into the stories of Jamaa? Do you think they are a key element of the game? Well, I believe so. It's part of the reason I like it so much, the hidden depth of the game. Naming these shaman statues seem like the first step to achieving our goal of balance. And I've thought of something.
This may work, and it may not. But isn't anything worth a try? The key part of this is everyone doing it. The more jammers AJHQ hears from the more they'll realize we care for the stories and shamans of Jamaa. This means you need to tell all your buddies about this (if you like). Post it on your blogs.
Can you guess what I'm thinking? We go to every thought box in Jamaa, every single one, and type the following.

NAME THE SHAMAN ANIMAL STATUES!

You can even copy and paste the whole message! Do you think they'll get our meaning? Now here comes the hard part.
We have to wait. Who knows how long. AJHQ may not even review the ideas we send in, but it's worth a try.
We could make a difference. Only time, and effort, will tell. What we need is numbers, numbers to prove that we all agree. That we care. In that I need your help. Gather your buddies, submit to those thought boxes, and maybe we can change Jamaa.

New RIM: Freedom Bands 7/2/12

Hey Jammers!

Yesterday, while I was roaming across Jamaa... I happened to come upon one Jammer's trade list. Being as curious as I can be, I clicked on it, and discovered something highly strange... It was the bioluminescent necklace, a blue one, but that's not all... It was half blue and half black! Last time I checked, there were no colors like that. So, I want to ask you all, is this a crazy mixed up prank? Is it a glitch? Or will it be a future color for it? Despite, the rather alarm I took to it, I would buy it, if it ever came out. Would you? ;)

Next, we have the daily rare item, sold every Monday. This Monday's rare is are the Freedom Bands, as predicted by last week. They are located in Jam Mart Clothing. I enjoy this rare, do you? To me, I'm glad more rares are coming out, but that's just me. ^.^ Hopefully freedom wings and helmet will come out soon, that will be the icing on the cake. Do you like rares returning, like me? Or are you not so thrilled about it? :P

In other news, Hayes848 found four new colors of Pirate Swords(nonmember swords) in Best Dressed. Perhaps this means they will be released soon. What do you guys think?

As a side note, Lyssie6329 noticed that many jammers got Nature Archways that correlated with their den at the time of AJHQ's send out. I know I got a lava-fall while using my Volcano Den. Does anyone notice a similar pattern? Ice-fall with Ice Den? Flowering waterfall with Princess Castle? Things like that?

Now here's a wacky thing. . . a magnifying glass. sjamjjust spotted at random. Is it something significant?
Is it a future addition to Jamaa? What would we do with it? Ir does seem very AJ-ish in animation, I wonder where it fits in. Also, I suggest you check out this cool website I found - explore.org. There are tons of live animal cams. Earlier, snowyclaw witnessed some Puffins out on the Loafing Ledge.

I promise to do the Monday Mystery tomorrow, there is just too much pressing subjects to get through today! Happy jamming everyone, don't forget to post your thoughts.

Meaning of our History

Read the first movement post . . . click here.

Hey jammers. As you all know, the history of Jamaa is falling apart. It seems very few know about it anymore. We are the ones responsible for keeping it together. We need to remind everyone. We need to spread our knowledge to others. . . Otherwise the culture of Jamaa will truly die.

With this movement I'm not suggesting that we protest against all things modern, I'm just hoping we can create a balance between the new and the old. However, I need help with our goals. What small thing could we change? I need ideas. . . This movement isn't for just me, it's for all of us.

Animal Jam is, and always will be, human. Animals don't wear clothes, or have houses, I get that. I simply love the culture that it used to express. The clothing made out of nature. Masks with feathers instead of sun visors, leg items with leaves instead of flip flops. But really, all I want is a balance, how about you all? It matters more what you think.

If you don't agree with this movement, or don't really care, you really don't have to join in. I only thought many jammers cared about this. I've talked about it with so many it seemed like we all were thinking along the same lines

My sister was doing something interesting the other day. She was lying by Mira, and every time a jammer came up she asked "Do you know who this statue is of?" She would then go on withtelling that jammer about Jamaa's history. She did it for fun, and it was just random. What if we all did that? Just once and a while, when you have the time, tell the story of Jamaa. It's actually pretty fun, and you'd be surprised with some jammer's reactions. Perhaps you can think about trying it this week.

Thanks jammers, I'm really happy you feel the same about the movement. As a side note, I think Leafpool really captured what inspired me to start the jamaasian movement. Thank you. :)

"The Jamaasian movement is not about abolishing humanity and bringing back beta. It's about bringing back the culture!" ~Leafpool

New RIM: Freedom Capes 6/25/12

Heya Jammers!

Today, I'll tell you about the new posts Animal Jam HQ have made on their blog, The Daily Explorer. Again, sorry you see these so late, but I've been extremely busy lately to captivate all of these.

Seems Animal Jam HQ have posted about the rare item already, making it indeed freedom bands. Make sure to stock up on these, they might never come back. Soon, we will probably have freedom wings and helmets coming out soon. Make sure to load up on those as well. These really are, pawsome items. ^.^
Animal Jam also seems to note the riddle in the Jamaa Journal. What do you think the new animal could be? The riddle may give you some clues, so feel free to read it. I've read it and I have a feeling I know what it is. ;) Also, the new pet may be a rat/mouse. What do you think jammers? I made this decision based on the large sum of Jammers saying it is a rat or mouse! So.. it may be... just saying... Also, Animal Jam sent out a daily message on this... Do you know what it is? I know I do. ^.^
Lastly, this was updated a while ago, but I just came around to posting it (sorry for the long wait). >.< Anyhow, seems Animal Jam really wants its jammers to know about the penguin being for all. Which I think if pretty pawrific. It seems Animal Jam are finally listening to us, and creating things nonmember. What do you think on this? I love it. Also, if you look close into the picture... you can see something... The seal cave. Is that an entrance? But to where? Hmm... This brings us to the weekly Jamaasian mystery... Where does this strange cave lead too? Will it lead to a magical land? Will i9t bring back the old cultural parts of Jamaa and all items for all jammers? Is it where shamans dwell? Tell me your answer in the comments, I'd love to hear your indue approach to this Jamaasian mystery... ^.^
See Jammers? It could lead to somewhere mystical in the near future... I can't wait to see it, and hear your ideas!

Now for the rare item monday!

Today, Animal Jam have brought back the freedom capes, a classic rare from Fourth of July in 2011. Hopefully, more freedoms will come back, and I advise you to stock up on them (they might never come back). So, you can buy this rare in Jam Mart Clothing, and it is nonmember! That means all Jammers can purchase it! Pretty cool. ^.^

Well, that's all for today Jammers! Happy Jamming! ;)

Jamaasian Movement Begins

Requirement - first read the History of Jamaa.
The post that inspired it all. . .

I know you were all hoping for something big, somethingJamaa-changing, but we all need to face the facts. Animal Jam is run by adults. We are kids. What could we possibly do?
All I know is that I didn't join Jamaa for the rares or the games. I joined it to find friends from around the world and learn more about the earth from an inspirational game. As corny as that sounds, it's true. I love Jamaa because of the imagination and creativity behind it. It is something more than a game. . .
Perhaps it started with Graham the monkey shaman. It all began then I suppose. I never realized how fun it would be to meet a shaman, and how I felt like I was becoming part of a story. None of my rares mattered at that moment. I just wish everyone else could feel the same. Things would be better. . .
Enough with my talk, now for the evidence! Here are some problems I've seen. Shamans are no longer being named. Mira, Zios, and the phantoms no longer appear in the Jamaa Journal (except for gift giving symbols and glitch excuses that is).Humanity is invading Jamaa - the cruise ship - Crystal Sands  water slides. . . It's simply getting ridiculous.
If we want to make a difference we need to act together. I don't just mean all of you or this blog. We're pretty small in Jamaa. I mean every blog, every jammer, every single one you can find. If the word goes wide, we may have a chance. I'm sure many of you own blogs, or read other ones. Could you post this, or tell about this? No need to link my blog if you don't want you readers to come here. Just simply state the name and goal of our movement. Then we may have the chance. . . to change Jamaa.
Tell your buddies. Tell jammers who care about Jamaa. Tell jammers who don't know anything about it at all. If we are a united group AJHQ will have to hear us. None of this is possible without your active help, you must want to change Jamaa.
This next week is to prepare for our first act. Our current task is to spread the word. Tell a random jammer you meet. Tell your friends. Tell your your blog readers. But the real question is this - what are we going to do? What do you want to do? Tell me your ideas and remember, we must take baby steps. Little changes. If we give it our best we may just change the world.
There are some of you that will ignore this post, won't spread the word, and don't really care. That's alright. It makes a difference just knowing about what Jamaa is missing. For everyone else, we must fight. For when we leave Jamaa we need to be ready for the outside world. It's a big place, and it needs change to move towards a better future. Why not start now?

Freedom Mask 6/18/12

Hey Jammers!

Today, AJHQ have brought back a true rare! The rare is the freedom mask, brought out in July 2010 and sold in, the fourth page of Jam Mart Clothing! This is exciting news jammers, maybe more freedoms are soon to come out! What do you think about this jammers?
It's even nonmember! This is truly Jamaasian! Maybe snowyclaw's Jamaasian Movement is working! Click here to learn more about it. Wow, I sense more Freedoms and Jamaasian lore will be coming to Jamaa now. ;)

Next, here's a funny little glitch that sjamj spotted a glitchy pet name!
Orangemountain always seems to pop-up with name glitches. Have you had this glitch before?

Now for the weekly Jamaasian mystery. . .
. . .What actually made Zios fall? Were it the phantoms? Were it the greed of other jammers? Was it a natural Jamaasian disaster? Or was it so ashamed of the phantoms tearing apart the beauty in Jamaa? Or the humans coming into Jamaa and humanizing it all? Tell me your thoughts on this in the comments. I hope to hear some creative ideas to this puzzling occurrence. ;)

Well that's all for now. Happy Jamming!

New RIM: "Rare" Golden Pirate Hat

Hey Jammers!

Todays "rare" is the golden pirate hat. Located on the sixth page of Jam Mart Clothing. AJHQ  seems to really be going crazy over this golden thing. Soon things will be bronze, and silver... I can see it now... Are you ready? ^.^

Next, AJHQ  sent out another message to everyone yesterday, it's about PET ADOPTION! Make sure to head on her to AJHQ's blog, The Daily Explorer, click on it for a link, to learn more about caring for our adorable little friends. Every pet deserves a home. ;)

Next, for the weekly jamaasian mystery. . . This one is kinda a fun one, and needs no exact answer. . .
Who are these mysterious rainbow bunnies? Were they the originally Jamaasians, ones who care about the culture of Jamaa? Are they sent to create peace to all Jammers of Jamaa? Are they secretly evil and out to get us? What do you think? Like I said, this is completely random, and it needs no "exact" answer. It's just a fun question for this week. ;)

Well, that's all for today, jammers. Happy Jamming!

New RIM: "Rare" Star Capes

Hey Jamaasians!

Today, AJHQ have created a "rare" version of the star cape. It is currently located on the first page of Mt. Shiveer's Hot Cocoa Hut. I highly suggest buying one of these, they're so cool looking. ;)
Next, for this week's Jamaasian mystery.
The grand arches surrounding the statue of Mira in the Township have all collapsed. Vines grow on the crumbling stone. What did this place used to be? What happened there?
Why is it left in ruins?

Happy Jamming!

New RIM" Rare Flower Bracelet 5/28/12

Hey Jammers!

Today's "rare" item is, the "rare" Flower Bracelet, unfortunately, it's member, but at least, last rare was nonmember, maybe AJHQ will go back and forth...What do you think, jammers?
Rare Flower Bracelet
Located in Jam Mart Clothing
Second page.

Next, yesterday, AJHQ sent out this message to all who were on Animal Jam. . .
Seems, like they are trying to inform us to check out the bunny party. I've got a feeling, they might be done updating in there, since they've always done this and soon after, stopped updating in that specific party. Too bad, this party was truly Jamaasian. Well, maybe more Jamaasian parties are on the way! (Like the Monkeys Only Party, hint hint). We just have to let AJHQ know that we want the old Jamaa back, don't give up! We can do it, if Jamaasians are work together, as a team, family, friends. ;)

Next, I've discovered a little glitch, called, "the reluctant bridge glitch" better known as the "fall off the bridge glitch" since you practically fall off the bridge! Here's how you do it:

THE RELUCTANT BRIDGE

teacher - myself

Stand here, in the middle of the bridge
close to Appondale.

Slowly ease your way upwards.
Slowly, easing your way up. . .
Now you can get a little bit away from
the crowd! Notice: this is how far you can
go, any farther, and you will be sent back.
Unfortunately, this is the only bridge that has it. Have fun doing this little diddy of a glitch. :P

Also, lokithorrr, informed me that AJHQ had changed "Eat 'Em Up" everyone favorite game in Crystal Reef. Here's a photo.
If you can spot the difference made, comment! I'd love to hear your opinion on this. I just can't seem to find, the change. :P Unless, AJHQ changed it from "Eat Em' Up" to "Eat 'Em Up." With the apostrophe out in front? Other than that, I do not see a change, unless in the fishes swimming and chasing each other... What do you think jammers? Please help me, decipher what it could be, please.

Also, XxFreeSpiritxX reported strange cases of invisibility yesterday, seems AJHQ now has the disappearance glitches, I'd say.
What do you think of this jammers? Have you had this as well?

Also, snowyclaw has spotted another "two-in-one" glitch located in Best Dressed, seems it hasn't gone away for good.

Now, for the daily Jamaasian mystery. . .
What do you think is beyond the two curtains in the Animal Museum/Conservatory? Will they be new exhibits?  What animals will they show? Will there be new rooms? Where will they lead? Happy jamming everyone, enjoy the Monday rare!
